The position
As our Senior Manager for Material & Supplier Pack QA, you will be responsible for managing a team with highly skilled employees being QA and vendor responsible within primary and printed packaging supplying to all production sites in Novo Nordisk. You will also manage relationships with suppliers to ensure high quality delivery of materials and implement metrics to measure and track quality and supplier performance. We are looking for someone who collaborates and engages employees and stakeholders in always finding the best solutions.
Your responsibility: In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop a team 1-2 leaders leading highly skilled professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of primary packaging processes. You will also manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and implement metrics to measure and track quality and supplier performance.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
  • Master’s degree in pharmaceutical science, food science, engineering or similar .
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, food processing, medical devices or similar.
  • Strong people management skills with experience leading a team of highly skilled professionals.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing quality management systems that meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, diagnose root causes, and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • About the department External Supply Sourcing QA is responsible for Quality Assurance of Raw Materials and Packaging Materials going into all of [xxxxx] A/S◀ marketed products. We are responsible for Quality Assurance of our suppliers who are located all over the world. A combination of ensuring a high standard of incoming materials, and involvement in investigations into quality issues by the use of LEAN tools is part of our daily work. In total, we are 75 dedicated employees divided into 5 teams working closely together. We collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation and all over the world. Our department is currently located in Bagsværd, Denmark, with plans of moving to the new [xxxxx] site in Taastrup, Denmark, in December 2024.
