Quality Audits and Inspections is a global quality function in [xxxxx] with 100 highly skilled employees. There is a high degree of cross collaboration with stakeholders around the globe. Quality Audits and Inspections is a critically important area for [xxxxx]. We secure our license to operate and secure safe and efficacious products of highest quality to our patients. The Position As the Corporate Vice President, you will report to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of [xxxxx] Quality and play a pivotal role within the [xxxxx] Quality leadership team. Your responsibilities will encompass driving the [xxxxx] Quality mission and overseeing quality audits and inspection processes globally. This includes steering strategic direction to elevate performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing quality initiatives. You will also chair the Novo Nordisk Recall Committee, safeguarding patient safety and compliance for all [xxxxx] products worldwide. This position acts as the highest authority in [xxxxx] regarding audit results, requiring a high level of integrity. You will be entrusted to make decisions within established frameworks and provide key advice to the SVP in quality and compliance matters, supporting the NNQ QMR process and the consolidation of the NNQ enterprise risk overview. Key Responsibilities
  • Internal and external quality audits across all the Novo Nordisk value chain, covering all GxP aspects (GLP, GCP, GMP, GDP, PV)
  • Supplier and responsible sourcing audits
  • Preparing, coordinating, and hosting authority inspections
  • Driving Potential Recalls across [xxxxx]
  • The function has the global process ownership of the Batch status assignment, Audit, Authority Inspection and Potential Recall processes.
  • In this leadership role, you will leverage your expertise in quality audit and inspection processes to foster talent development and ensure high employee engagement. You will empower and support your team to lead, manage, and develop their respective teams to achieve peak performance. Additionally, you will cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders across various levels. Qualifications To thrive in this role, we are seeking individuals with the following:
  • Master of Science degree in Natural Sciences such as Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering or the like
  • 15+ years relevant experience in Quality and GMP at VP level
  • Proven experience in Quality management and collaboration with health authorities
  • Extensive experience of FDA interactions, including in inspection settings
  • Proven managerial experience - leadership by situation, value-based management, ability to lead, develop and engage, and coordinate global cross-organisational groups
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex processes and ability to set direction in business-critical processes
  • Ability to motivate, engage and continuously develop highly skilled teams
  • Capability in communicating in a simple, transparent, and engaging manner
  • Ability to cope with high work-load and external pressure during inspections of potential critical importance to [xxxxx]
  • Capable to see the overall picture while also knowing the details and how to apply the details
