As a IT Architect for File services, you will be responsible for the advisory, architecture and support of the File services, focusing on storage management for building roadmap, evaluating business requirements, and designing new solutions to meet future demands. You will be entrusted with the below responsibilities:
  • Building new cloud services based on the latest technologies for file sharing in the public and private cloud. This will cover all the phases of a service: from Conceptualization, Proof of Concept, Business case creation, Design, Implementation, and operations
  • Providing File services support for SMB ACL’s (Server Message Block Access Control List) and NFS (Network File System) export strategies including permissions, migrations, tools, and scripting
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and secure solutions
  • Advising global stakeholders on File services adopting industry best practices
  • Creating processes and procedures to support operation of File services, and ensuring compliance with industry security standards and regulations
  • Which competencies to bring?
    To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • Degree in related field and/or preferably 3 years of experience with File services
  • Experience with cloud storage services such as Azure File Sync, AWS FSx, and/or cloud archive solutions
  • Preferably experience with scripting languages and infrastructure as code tools
  • Understanding of ITIL, ITSM, Agile/SAFe, security standards and best practices would be an advantage
