The position As an HS Supporter, your main responsibility is to collaborate with the HS Partner and representatives in NMS to ensure ongoing improvement of health and safety and address outstanding issues. Your areas of responsibility will include, among others:
  • Ensuring compliance with national legislation and ISO 45001 standards for occupational health and safety management systems.
  • Conducting mapping and risk assessments of working environment conditions, including participation in Work Environment Risk Assessments (WPA) and chemical management.
  • Collaborating, guiding, and supporting colleagues in occupational health and safety within upcoming projects, while also ensuring alignment with management targets and procedures.
  • Driving continuous improvements in line with our HS strategy.
  • Your focus will be on upcoming projects, but you'll also engage with a network of HS professionals and representatives across NMS. Additionally, you'll actively contribute to maintaining a positive working environment and safety culture. Given your collaboration with both internal and external colleagues, you'll interact with individuals from diverse educational backgrounds. Expect your workdays to consist of a mix of planned and unplanned tasks, requiring a blend of your competencies and adaptability. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • Knowledge and experience in both the Danish HS legislation and working within ISO 45001 standards.
  • Either an HS educational background or experience from industries/organizations where processes and activities are centred around ambitious standards regarding health and safety.
  • A strong interest in keeping, maintaining, and developing a healthy and safe environment and culture together with managers and colleagues.
  • Experience in planning, guiding, and supporting key stakeholders and team members in development projects.
  • Strong communication skills in both Danish and English and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • As a person, you are expected to exhibit initiative and dedication, which will be crucial in identifying and implementing local solutions to immediate challenges. About the Team You will be a part of the QC, Training & Facility Management department, specifically within our Facility & EHS team. Comprising nine members, our team oversees all facility services, building maintenance, environmental enhancements, and health and safety initiatives across the site. We operate under Needle Manufacturing & Sourcing, which manages the global end-to-end supply chain for [xxxxx]'s pen needles, encompassing both internal and external production, quality assurance, and manufacturing development. Our division comprises eight departments, with approximately 500 employees dedicated to ensuring the seamless supply of pen needles to Novo Nordisk.
