Let’s talk about the role
As our new People Leader (PL) you will play a key role in ensuring strong change management, help design clear organisational processes, motivate and develop our people, and ensure a strong focus on operational stability. You will report to the VP of Cloud & Corporate Infrastructure. The product teams in Corporate Infrastructure are co-led. As a People Leader you hold the line management responsibility for the employees in Denmark, who report to you. The Product Owners reporting to you hold functional product responsibility, direct the work of the product teams, and ensure clear product strategy and priorities. The technical leadership of product owners is handled by a Product Manager who like you is also part of the ART leadership team. Hence, the teams you will be leading are not your teams but our teams. The idea of co-leading teams must sit well with you. There will be tasks you do alone, but the most exciting tasks are those we collaborate on and complete together. Additionally, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Long-term competency and skills development, such as people career development and motivation including coaching and mentoring
  • Foster diversity, inclusion and high performance
  • Annual FTE budget planning based on capacity needs and ensuring short- and long-term capacity plan for the team
  • Building strong personal and professional competencies in our team to deliver on our ambitious strategy
  • Understanding trends and build domain knowledge in the area of Network operations

    The position is based in Cloud & Corporate Infrastructure (CCI) which is a department in Global IT Operations (GITO). GITO is an area with 450+ employees distributed across more than 25 countries, managing [xxxxx] infrastructure operations, service desk and digital workplace services globally. In CCI we are inspired by agile methodologies and the SAFe framework. As an agile People Leader you will become part of the ART Leadership team together with fellow People Leaders in DK, US and India, Product management, Release Train Engineer, System Architects, and the CCI VP. The department you will be leading are group of highly skilled and dedicated employees such as Network Engineers, architects, Product Owners and project managers based in Denmark. The department is both responsible for Network design, Network Operations and large IT infrastructure Expansion projects. It is divided in several product delivery teams. We are embracing new ideas on how to successfully deliver our products, services and projects and introduce new ways of working. Currently our teams and organisation are undergoing rapid growth.     To succeed in this role, we expect you to tick most of the following:
  • An academic background in a relevant field e.g. Business, IT, Engineering or Computer Science
  • At least 3 years of experience leading and managing IT teams, preferably in infrastructure or network operations or similar where the work combines operations and development
  • You have a good understanding of the competencies and processes required in a successful IT operations department
  • Advanced coaching skills
  • Experience supporting a transformation through personal advocacy, engagement, stakeholder management and leadership
  • Certification or practical experience with Agile methodologies
  • On a personal level you have an inclusive mindset and have a focus on diversity. You are using your empathy to ensure a sustainable work environment, building trust, empower and motivate teams and accelerate people development. You are fluent in written and spoken English.
