Who you will be working with The position is anchored in the Strategy & Transformation department, more specifically in the Post Merger Integrations (PMI) Team, which is a new team in the M&A area. Our 15 highly skilled and dedicated employees are responsible for ensuring successful Due Diligence and Integration projects within Digital, Data & IT. Behind the title As our new IT Project Manager you will join projects either in the Due Diligence phase or as part of a longer Integration project. You will be responsible for your own deliverables, however, in close collaboration with senior stakeholders in the project. Additionally, your responsibilities will be to:
  • Apply the agreed Integration Strategy (Operating model), give input to the overall plan, and drive deliverables towards timely implementation

  • Communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders globally, and informally make an impact for the better of the project

  • Tracking and reporting progress on the integration activities to the integration team, the Integration Management Office (IMO), the NN project and to relevant governance bodies

  • Identify, track and document risks during the integration project

  • Manage part of the project, depending on the size, and also ensure to deliver on some of the IT related tasks

  • What we scout for To be a successful candidate, we hope you meet most of the following:
  • Master’s degree in Business, IT or another relevant field

  • At least 5 years of experience as Project Manager, preferably in large complex organisations

  • Previous exposure to M&A would be beneficial, but not a requirement

  • Deep knowledge of the phases in traditional Project Management, as well as Agile ways of working

  • Strong understanding the importance of flexibility and change management to succeed with your ideas and to deliver on the project plan

  • On a personal level, you are a team player and can build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders on all levels of an organisation. You can work independently and thrive in a busy and global environment where priorities change, and fast decisions are needed to move on. Success in this role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build credibility and engage stakeholders at all levels.
