Join Ramboll as our new ESG Water Engineer Lead and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Your new role</strong></p><p>As our ESG Water Lead you will work globally supporting all our geographies across the entire water cycle where green financing, CSRD, ESG, and EU Taxonomy are relevant to our clients. As part of your role, you will lead the strategic development of our ESG setup, approach, and offering internally as well as externally, inspiring new water management policies, targets, and metrics. You will be working across three main areas, but we also invite you to influence your own role for the better of Ramboll Water and the planetary needs:</p><ol><li>Support our Head of Sustainability and our Group Sustainability Team in examining and reporting on EU Taxonomy within Ramboll Water </li><li>Support our project managers, market directors, partners, and clients in the water sector in understanding how they comply with and report on EU Taxonomy and CSRD.  </li><li>Coordinate and co-evolve our support to other clients (also other Ramboll markets) as they report on water- and climate-related aspects of the EU Taxonomy and CSRD</li></ol><p>We envision that you genuinely care about sustainability, about our responsibility in creating a more balanced planet for all living systems, and that you bring your holistic understanding and analytical and inspirational abilities into play to invite colleagues and clients on a sustainability journey.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Your new team</strong></p><p>You will join our global executive team, which gathers the global support functions, such as Head of Finance, Head of Communication, Head of Innovation, etc. We sit across multiple geographies but work seamlessly together online and in-person as need be. You will report to our Head of Sustainability and work with teams throughout our organization in all our geographies to advance the ESG agenda.</p><p> </p><p><strong>About you</strong></p><p>We think you have a solid engineering consultancy and/or planning background within water, and we believe you have gained extensive experience working in diverse European regions. You are currently based in Europe and is open for travelling within the region, including regular visits to Ramboll’s head quarter in Copenhagen, Denmark, where the sustainability team is anchored.</p><p>Your background:</p><ul><li>A BSc and/or Master’s degree in a relevant field for example civil, environmental, mechanical, process, water resources, geography, or other relevant field</li><li>A minimum of 10 years’ experience within the water sector (water utilities and or water using companies) </li><li>Demonstrated experience in working in a client facing role ca 5 years</li><li>Proven experience with working with water resources management across the entire water cycle in several geographies </li><li>Experience or strong interest in supporting water-related actors with ESG reporting </li><li>Superior written and oral communication skills in English</li></ul><p>Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include:</p><ul><li>Demonstrate technological expertise in developing new innovative services for latest EU directives</li><li>Have strong sales skills and drive to advance business development </li><li>Enjoys applying complex problem-solving skills to address the interplay between policy demands, market developments, technological progress and environmental issues</li><li>Possess strong interpersonal skills for building client relations </li><li>Being a passionate skilled team player who proactively engages with project team members to deliver through an open, positive and empathetic attitude.  </li><li>Thriving in a multicultural environment and use your strong social skills to build lasting relationships with both clients and colleagues across the organization. </li><li>Confident communicator, know that the devil is in the detail, and thrive working independently, and multidisciplinary.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>What we can offer you</strong></p><p>•    Investment in your development<br>
