The Position As a Medical Affairs professional at [xxxxx], you will have the opportunity to drive the medical affairs strategy and priorities in Region NWE, co-lead and co-chair Region NWE medical leadership community within AD and MASH, ensuring close collaboration, sharing of information, communication, and implementation of strategic priorities. You will be also expected to ensure best practice sharing and identify synergies across affiliates, provide individual affiliate support and support development of medical employees across Regional NWE ensuring up to date medical capabilities. In addition, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and direction setting in Region NWE
  • Continuously develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance medical affairs excellence in Region NWE
  • Represent Region NWE in medical International Operations/Global fora for AD and MASH
  • Engage with internal and external medical/scientific stakeholders
  • Provide medical expertise for AD and MASH acting as Subject Matter Expert for all products within your responsibility and drive the timely, accurate and credible building medical knowledge within the project
  • The position will report to the Head of Medical Affairs, RareD, Cardiovascular and Emerging Therapy Areas. Qualifications For this role we’re searching for a person with a strategic mindset who can communicate regional priorities in light of the business needs and the ability to empower others through coaching or mentoring. The ideal candidate is good at negotiating with multiple stakeholders and can navigate in the matrix and prioritize regional needs while at the same time be able to support initiatives coming from other stakeholders (e.g. Global/IO) In addition:
  • You preferably hold a medical degree (M.D.) with clinical neurology and/or hepatology experience.
  • Substantial medical affairs experience preferably within neurology and/or hepatology.
  • Strong presentation skills and results oriented personality, thriving in a setting with a high level of complexity and have solid problem-solving capabilities and a positive attitude
  • Good business understanding and leadership experience
  • Project-based activity and successfully delivering initiatives
