The Position As an Associate Project Manager – Sustainability you will join a team of 8-10 talented and ambitious project/sustainability managers with consulting and/or procurement backgrounds, responsible for driving and further developing Novo Nordisk’s ESG agenda towards the supply chain. A global, high impact project at the top of the Global Procurement organisation’s agenda. Key responsabilities:
  • Drive initiatives related to the [xxxxx] environmental strategy – Circular for Zero, working together with our global procurement organisation to secure sustainable supply from our global supply base.
  • Be supporting on various activities including supplier negotiations, implementing emission reduction initiatives, and implementing a sustainable supplier maturity framework.
  • Qualifications We are looking for someone with project manager experience (at least 1-2 years) with knowledge of sustainability especially Net Zero. Experience within procurement or supply chain is a plus. In addition to that, you:
  • Have completed a Master's Degree (e.g. in sustainability, business administration, environmental mgmt., engineering, supply chain management or similar) with excellent results.
  • Are data-driven in your approach, recommendations and decision-making while you define relevant and transparent targets, as well as have excellent interpersonal skills, a flair for stakeholder interactions and for motivating others
  • Are pragmatic and results-oriented: good at keeping focus and executing to meet the targets
  • Are a strong communicator and collaborator with a can-do approach
  • Must be fluent in both oral and written English (including on CV)
