Organisational Change Management Lead for the IT Scalability Programme

Then you might be our new OCM Lead, responsible for, strategizing and executing the OCM and Communication hub-and-spoke efforts in our IT Scalability Programme.
About the role As our new OCM Lead, you will join the IT Scalability Programme, where we are implementing the next generation of shared IT services and infrastructure that is required for enabling the scaling must win battles for [xxxxx]. The Programme is organised with a central Value Assurance Project Management Office (VA PMO) and several Themes (workstreams) and works across the DD&IT organisation. In your new role, you will lead the central OCM and Communications function in the Programme Office and collaborate with external consultants assigned, while at the same time be the liaison between the VA PMO and OCM track leads in the Themes. You will be using your experience in communications to set direction and create followership, ensuring strong collaboration both with the programme management and theme owners. You will ensure that the programme Themes achieve maximum change impact and help build the central programme narrative to senior stakeholders and the broader organisation. More specifically, your responsibilities will evolve around the following areas: Organisational Change Management and change leadership
  • Design, develop and implement OCM programme strategy and roadmap
  • Supervise execution of activities related to OCM and end user readiness
  • Build the change readiness of the organisation, as well as ensure leadership commitment
  • Supervising execution of activities with a hub-and-spoke team of internal and external OCM and Communication consultants
  • Working with Themes to ensure that change stories are appropriately documented
  • Spearhead initiatives to develop end-users understanding and acceptance of impacts on the business processes
  • Lead OCM WoW (cross Programme ways of working)
  • Develop and maintain the OCM hub-and-spoke framework to constantly drive best practises and ensuring alignment across the Programme
  • Drive the OCM community within the Programme
  • Facilitate key events e.g. workshops, OCM & Communication activities
  • Monitor and align on the key objectives for OCM & Communication
  • Stakeholder engagement and relationship management
  • Anticipates stakeholders and/or opinion leaders needs and assesses them to offer tailor-made communication, by understanding their needs, challenges, and expectations
  • Refine communication strategy and plan according to programme needs
  • Ensure consistency in communication including content, presentations, speeches, memos etc.
  • Coordinate and aggregate with OCM community on key messages
  • Define and execute approach to build sense of belonging to Programme
  • What we’re looking for?
    For this role, we imagine that you come with a graduate degree in relevant field (e.g. Communications, Business Administration or Marketing) and that you are passioned about the intersection of Business and IT. To be successful in the role, we imagine that you have +5-7 years of relevant OCM and communication experience from large scale IT projects (+100mDKK/yr) within in a complex and global organisation. Likewise, we believe that you will be able to tick the following boxes:
  • Experience implementing and delivering successful change management principles, methodologies, best practices (i.e. Prosci or similar)
  • Experience in a global IT organisation or consultancy for similar is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, as you will be guiding and challenging your colleagues when needed, as well as interact with stakeholders in a complex environment
  • Strong communication abilities, as you will be conveying complex information clearly both verbally and in writing, taking a tactical approach
  • Understanding of Agile principles, methodologies, and events (e.g SAFe) will be an added advantage

    The IT Scalability Programme implements the next generation of shared IT services and infrastructure that is required for enabling the high ambitions for [xxxxx] growth, and expansions. You will therefore join a programme delivering across DD&IT, working with people setting the strategic agenda for Digital, Data and IT to those that are implementing the latest technology. The programme is in the execution phase and is expected to have a duration of another 1,5 years. Joining the Scalability Programme means joining our team of 8 colleagues across our VA PMO and five different themes (workstreams), anchored across DD&IT. As part of a complex structure, we aim at ensuring the most fruitful collaboration and belonging to the programme through ongoing ‘Snack and Share’, music quizzes and coffee chats in the kitchen. The position is permanent and will report directly to the Vice President of the IT Scalability Programme, Rasmus Anker. Likewise, you will become part of our Strategy & Transformation (S&T) unit that brings to life the overall strategic lines and leads transformation - all to ensure business value.
