The position
As a Global Associate Project Director, you will have the responsibility of setting the long-term strategic direction for the obesity project in close collaboration with commercial colleagues and stakeholders across the value chain. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Leading the development of a 10-year product strategy for the obesity product, setting direction and priorities for development activities across the value chain, and lead selected sub-strategy tracks
  • Creating a strategy roadmap and ensuring a clear plan for executing on the strategy
  • Securing relevant governance approvals and funding for outlined strategic priorities. Project managing ad-hoc opportunity assessments with cross-functional team members, focusing on commercial, scientific, and regulatory assessments
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across different therapy areas, particularly diabetes, to ensure portfolio alignment

  • Qualifications
    To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • A Master’s degree in Business and/or Natural Sciences combined with min. 5 years of experience in commercial project management within the pharma/biotechnology industry.
  • Experience in consultancy roles, with a strong analytical and project management toolbox.
  • Experience with Life Cycle Management and strategy development to deliver sustainable product growth.
  • A proven track record of working with cross-functional stakeholders along the value chain.
  • The ability to deploy an enterprise mindset and consider portfolio interdependencies and implications of decisions and recommendations.
  • Excitement about joining our journey of shaping the obesity market and making a true difference.
  • As a person, you are innovative, customer-oriented, and enjoy bringing colleagues and diverse perspectives together to solve challenges and projects. You have excellent communication skills and can simply convey complex messages. You feel comfortable engaging with stakeholders at different levels and from all parts of the organization.
