The position
In the role of HS partner, you will be responsible for work environment and environment within our area. You must ensure that we meet applicable standards and requirements to protect health and safety of our employees.
Key responsibilities will include:
  • You will be responsible for ongoing development, coordination, and implementation of various HS activities in full accordance with the company's strategic goals. This will be done together with our 4 highly competent working environment representatives (AMRs) and an engaged management group to support your work.

  • You will carry out HS inspections, Risk Assessments and internal audits and conduct CAPA in connection with various types of findings and observations.

  • You will bring knowledge and perspective into processes and activities. Furthermore, you are a carrier of culture and collaborate throughout the entire value chain when you develop and optimize the processes in production and laboratory, both within the working environment and the environment, including that machines and equipment operate with strong regard for all aspects within HS. Qualifications
    To succeed in the role, you have:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within pharmaceutical sciences or a related discipline.

  • Preferably 5+ years of relevant experience from Pharma or Chemical Industry and may have interest in both areas.

  • Knowledge about legislative requirements and standards like ISO14001 and ISO45001.

  • Significant and broad knowledge within Health and Safety, ideally from a production or laboratory environment.

  • Fluency in English and Danish.

  • Most importantly you are passionate about and thrive in a role where you can both think strategically and act operationally. You are experienced in troubleshooting and project management. Just as you have a helpful and supportive approach to tasks. You are used to finding solutions and are a skilled partner in the ongoing development of the company's mindset with a risk-based approach. You manage to link knowledge with your understanding of HS and at the same time ensure good cooperation.
    The key to success is your ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, keep an overview of a variety of tasks and ongoingly prioritize in an environment where you cannot necessarily predict what your day will look like.
    As a person you have high personal drive, enabling you to pursue key focus areas and achieve results. You have a positive attitude, appreciate working independently and like to make an impact. You can negotiate the right HS solutions, by balancing the HS response with other business needs.
    You like moving around in production and laboratory, as well as with the management team. You speak your mind with ease and managing a large network of people is something you are driven to. You are strong when it comes to creating and facilitating networks as well as keeping your stakeholders motivated, engaged, and informed. Your calm, innovative and goal-oriented thinking will help succeed in this role. About the Department
    Emerging Technologies (ET) is a newly established area in [xxxxx]. We have a growing pipeline of new products, many of which are based on emerging technology platforms coming into Product Supply via internal development projects and externally acquired assets. ET are well-known for having a pioneering spirit as well as a curious and daring approach and we play a key role in developing and producing future treatments for millions of patients around the world.     You will be joining the area Drug Product Manufacturing Development & Quality Control (DP MDev & QC), which has process and product responsibility for existing and future oral drug products post-launch, as well as performing all analyses on products after method transfer. We work across the ET organization to improve productivity of our production and analytical processes.
