The position We are embarking on a journey to develop automation and robotic solutions to aid our laboratories in conducting Quality Control at [xxxxx] Emerging Technologies (ET). With rapid expansion in this area, we must optimize and automate our laboratory processes to meet the growing demand. As an integral part of our dynamic QC Automation Team, you will:
  • Develop and program diverse automation and robotic solutions to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our laboratory processes.

  • Work closely with our IT department to ensure the seamless flow of data from our automated systems to the appropriate databases, safeguarding data integrity and accessibility.

  • Play a pivotal role in realizing our LAB 4.0 goals, aligning laboratory operations with the principles of Industry 4.0 for a smarter, interconnected, and more agile working environment.

  • Identifying the User Requirements Specification (URS)

  • Qualifications To excel in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Java, as well as PLC programming.

  • Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL), ensuring data integrity during transfer and storage.

  • Ability to design and implement robust, scalable automation solutions aligned with LAB 4.0 principles.

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. We use ADO as QMS.

  • Familiarity with data acquisition systems and integrating machine-generated data with central databases.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluent spoken and written English.

About the department Emerging Technologies MDEV & QC is a new area within [xxxxx] where the oral portfolio plays a significant role. We are approximately 300 employees, and we are growing. We work with quality control and compliance of the facilities, the equipment, QC lab, manufacturing development as well the release of tablets for the market. We develop and manufacture all oral drug products late phase as well as for launch ensuring that we bring best-in-class treatments to the market.
