The Position As a pivotal member of our New Tech and XR team, you will conceptualize, develop, and facilitate the implementation of XR initiatives within our manufacturing sites in Emerging Technologies. As part of a rapidly expanding department, you will significantly influence the application of this technology, both now and in the future. As an XR Developer, you will create and work with 3D models. You will apply your analytical skills to develop technical solutions for our internal customers. This involves driving and implementing solutions, from identifying use cases and executing proof of concepts, to supporting hundreds of employees across our production sites. You will collaborate closely with colleagues to develop virtual reality solutions that will revolutionize the way we train our employees and design future factories, ensuring safety and quality in our production facilities. Your responsibilities will be diverse and will include:

Designing and developing immersive and engaging XR experiences.

Becoming an expert in XR development and best practices.

Collaborating closely with the team, internal and external stakeholders.

Identifying suitable use cases for VR experiences and executing proof of concepts.

You will report to the Manager of the New Tech & XR team. The position will be based in Taastrup, Denmark from 1st September 2024. Qualifications You have a solid understanding of XR development, user requirements, and the associated technical skills, primarily coding in C# and Unity development. You are a quick learner with a solution and service-oriented mindset. You hold a relevant master’s degree in software development, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Innovation Design, or Game Design. You are capable of driving solutions from idea to implementation. You excel at working closely with end users and understand the importance of comprehending their needs. You approach tasks with structure, energy, curiosity, and a positive attitude. You are proactive and have experience in the following areas:

At least 2 years’ experience working in Unity, preferably developing VR experiences.

Strong problem-solving skills, with a user-centered approach to solutions.

Experience or interest in UXD, Interaction Design, and Design Thinking is a plus.

Understanding of other aspects of software development/game development is a plus (3D modelling, sound design, CAD, UX/UI, AI).

SCRUM knowledge/experience is a plus.

Fluency in written and spoken English.
