The position
As our Senior Compliance Manager you will have the unique opportunity to help shape the newly established role and define exact roles and responsibilities together with the Head of External Engagement Office. Some of your main tasks will include:
  • Setting the strategic direction for HCP compliance within Global Medical Affairs (GMA)
  • Leading process enhancement initiatives in GMA in response to expanded scopes, evolving external laws and regulations, industry requirements and internal policies
  • Keeping up to date on industry trends and new compliance regulations pertinent to the pharmaceutical landscape
  • Optimise and strengthen processes around ethics and compliance in GMA, including clear process descriptions and roles and responsibilities
  • Ensure continuous information sharing and regular trainings across GMA
  • Additionally, you will participate in R&D Compliance Centre of Expertise business ethics forum meetings, support and drive the risk reporting process and audits for GMA, maintain dialogue with system owners of relevant systems, and help implement [xxxxx] business ethics compliance initiatives in GMA. Qualifications To fulfill this role, you have:
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, law, finance or similar)
  • Relevant experience (4+ years) from a similar position working with HCPs compliance, ideally from a pharmaceutical / life science company and/or management consulting context
  • Expertise in existing regulations and codes governing the pharmaceutical industry (e.g. EFPIA, IFPMA, local codes)
  • Excellent communication skills and analytical abilities - you must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and written
  • Experience in collaborating successfully with many different stakeholders across functions and at different organisational levels
  • Experience with compliance in a pharmaceutical context is a significant advantage

Ideally, you will have some HCP compliance expertise from previous roles in other pharmaceutical / life science companies. About the department
    In Global Medical Affairs we aim to improve patients’ lives. We do this by leading the scientific exchange between patients, HCPs, payers and industry at large. We build the bridge between stakeholders and deliver insights across the value chain, bringing the patient and medical voice into [xxxxx]. This role as Senior Compliance Manager is anchored in the newly established External Engagement Office and this team will establish a ONE company approach to how we engage with HCPs for external expert insights with the aim to harmonize and facilitate our interactions with HCPs and ensuring compliance in our engagements with HCPs and patients. This role will amongst other things help put compliance on the agenda and ensure relevant communication and training across the Global Medical Affairs organization.
