The position
We are looking for an influential Senior People and Project Manager with exceptional leadership skills to lead and inspire project teams. The successful candidate will have the responsibility of overseeing and guiding projects within the scope of the construction of new facilities, while motivating, coaching, and developing the team members. This role requires stakeholder management at all levels within the organization. Collaborating with project managers, engineering partners, and suppliers, the Senior Project Manager will play a crucial role in designing and constructing large-scale facilities for new factories, managing project scope, planning, costs, and risks, and ensuring exceptional stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and inspire 5 project managers to help them achieve overall project goals.
  • Oversee the design and construction of large new facilities and create results through project managers.
  • Manage project scope, planning, costs, and project risks to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Communicate about schedule, targets and direction effectively and transparently.
  • We foresee that people leadership will take approximately 60% of the time, while the rest will be devoted to project management. The role is based in Kalundborg with occasional work in Copenhagen, and some flexibility to work from home. Qualifications
    We imagine that a successful candidate will have:
  • Proven experience with leadership and team management, ideally with leading leaders
  • Experience with project management within construction, engineering, pharma, or other relevant industries.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across various organizational levels.
  • Excellent communication and personal skills, with fluency in English.
