The position
As the Global Value Strategy and Payer Engagement Lead, you will be utilizing your communication skills to translate clinical results and health economic evidence into solid therapeutic value arguments to be used in payer engagements globally. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Initiating, developing, and managing payer value communication tools and materials, aligning with global strategy, and addressing market needs.
• Conducting trainings and workshops with affiliates and HQ, ensuring alignment with global strategy and processes.
• Securing an updated platform for affiliate access to value story, tools, and trainings, in alignment with relevant SOPs.
• Providing input and participating in the execution of the market access strategy, delivering internal and external trainings and presentations.
• Driving launch preparation excellence, developing payer value communication materials, and supporting relevant payer engagement activities.
• Defining the initial access strategy, including value and opportunity assessment, influencing payer evidence strategy.
• Executing and refining the HTA strategy for key launch assets, collaborating with regions, affiliates, and external vendors to drive best-in-class cross functional collaboration to optimize product launch strategy.
• Leading launch preparation and value communication activities within the Access and pricing team, supporting the development of strategies and associated tools.
• Driving early cross functional collaboration to optimize strategy and asset evaluation, leveraging knowledge to support HTA and reimbursement strategy
• Representing Novo Nordisk at key decision-making fora, evaluating the opportunity and landscape and developing market access strategies.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
• An academic background in a relevant field such as life sciences, economics, HEOR, public health science, or similar.
• A minimum of five years of experience in value strategy, value communication, or health economics and health outcomes research, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in Rear Disease and in specific therapeutic area knowledge – advantage.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Optimising market access, we ensure the continued success of the [xxxxx] Rare Disease Portfolio when we develop and execute strong, evidence-based global access strategies. In close collaboration with key internal stakeholders, Global Rare Disease Access and pricing establishes these strategies and key support tactics in the areas of pricing, reimbursement, health economics & outcomes research, value communication, and subsequently supports the implementation regionally and locally.
