The position
As an Environmental Professional, you will play a key role in the environmental support of an API production, help set direction in the environmental team, and become the go-to person for our stakeholders. You will also be working on projects to implement new regulations for the API production (Annex 1) and other relevant projects.

Other responsibilities include:
  • Assist and advice colleagues in their daily responsibilities.
  • Handle deviations, systematic problem solving, change requests, validations etc.
  • Participate in setting direction in the team and delivering training.

    Qualifications:
    Your experiences include:
  • A relevant academic degree in natural science, biology, microbiology, or similar with experience working in a GMP regulated area.
  • Preferably, experience within Environmental Monitoring.
  • Knowledge of LEAN is an advantage.
  • Tech savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly, experience with PEMS and LIMS is advantageous.
  • Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English and Danish.

While you enjoy collaborating, learning, and sharing information with others, you are driven by achieving great results with colleagues. Additionally, you possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to interact effectively with stakeholders across various functions and parts of the organisation.

    About the department
    The department is a part of Biotech & Rare Disease API DK and delivers products for the treatment of haemophilia. We are approximately 70 skilled and energetic employees divided into 5 teams, which are responsible for the purification of biopharmaceutical products. As an Environmental Monitoring professional you will be part of a team of 7 employees who have different responsibilities within cleaning and environmental support. Professionalism is key, and we work with a strong can-do attitude in relation to solving our challenges.

    API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) Denmark is part of Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD). At our sites in Gentofte, Hillerød, and Kalundborg, we are more than 600 colleagues working together to manufacture the API used in life-saving medicine for people living with serious chronic diseases. We work with advanced chemical and biotechnological processes such as cultivation, recovery, purification, and freeze-drying. We bring value to our patients by providing the cleanest possible high-quality API made in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) while constantly optimising our processes.
