To address the increasing need for strong ethics & compliance you will be expected to guide and advise the organisation and develop solutions to new and challenging issues in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment. The position will offer you a unique opportunity to obtain valuable insights into [xxxxx]’s business and will give you exposure to a large part of the global organisation. The scope of responsibilities includes, but is not limited to:
  • Drive development and implementation of the global ethics & compliance program and support senior governance fora within ethics & compliance
  • Provide advice, guidance and training on ethics & compliance related matters ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations
  • Draft and implement ethics & compliance requirements and guidance applicable to the global organisation
  • Lead global strategic projects with high complexity
  • Develop proactive guidance, tools and best practice materials
  • Represent [xxxxx] in relevant external Industry Associations (e.g. IFPMA & EFPIA)

  • You will be anchored in BECO in Bagsværd (DK) and work closely with colleagues from across the global organisation. As part of the global ethics & compliance organisation, you would also be involved in global cross-functional tasks and projects within ethics & compliance. QualificationsWe expect that the successful candidate have:
  • A master’s degree from a University or Business School preferably within law, business law, business administration or equivalent
  • Several years of experience working hand-on with ethics & compliance in a regulated industry
  • Strategic thinking and ability to lead and set direction in a complex global stakeholder landscape
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English with the ability to communicate complex matters in a simple and compelling way
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels within a global organisation
  • You have a good grasp of international business. You have several years of experience working with ethics & compliance in a global setting and you understand the complex regulatory environment that a pharmaceutical company like [xxxxx] operate in. Further you have a strong attention to detail and the ability to find pragmatic solutions to complex issues. You can both drive and participate in cross-functional projects and manage a complex stakeholder landscape. Experience from the pharmaceutical industry is not a must but will be considered an advantage.

You are a team-player that can also work independently and enjoy being part of a global work environment. About the department The Business Ethics Compliance Office (BECO) develops and leads the implementation of [xxxxx]’s global ethics & compliance strategy and programme, which focuses on the prevention of fraud, bribery and off-label promotion. BECO is also responsible for [xxxxx]’s global systems and processes related to tracking payments to healthcare professionals, as well as compliance with data protection regulations, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and respect for human rights.
